Definition: A PStar grind is essentially a "better" version of the Sidewalk grind. In this grind you're locked on your Soul plate with one skate, while the other skate is behind in an "acid" position dragging on the object on the positive side of your soul plate while locked on the positive side of the groove in your frame.
For this grind to technically count as a PStar there are some requirements. Depending on who you talk to (or if you’re doing it topside, or alleyoop, or if you’re doing it on a rail or something flat) that may vary but the general requirements would be either of these:
Other facts: The PStar grind name is originally "Pornstar". The name of the grind (around 2019) started being modified due to the new popularity of Aggressive Inline.
The grind name has very strong arguments around the rollerblading community with people very passionate on each side of the spectrum (i.e. people who absolutely say the name should never be changed, and people who think it should be filtered). We are not taking sides, but we are following what most popular social media and other channels are doing (to the displeasure of some, but we’re okay with that) – that is to filter the name to an abbreviation for general public.
This grind also can alternatively be called Acid Mizou according to the old dictionary (which technically make sense). We would encourage anyone or any situation that absolutely requires the name of the grind to be changed to use an abbreviation such as PStar or Acid Mizou instead of anything else.
A PStar grind has some references that it is to be done "backwards", i.e. Alleyoop. However most recent sources show that the PStar is done forwards, and other variations (such as Alleyoop or Truespin) are attached to it.
