Definition: It's supposed to be scary, that's why it's called a disaster. Because if you don't land it, it will probably hurt a lot more than a normal grind. A disaster grind can be any grind, but you are jumping (or falling) some distance before you lock into your trick. Let’s say you are to grind a rail, but you want to do it disaster. You would jump a very long distance away from the rail and get some air time before you locked into your grind.
