Grinds - Variations - Channel

*Grind previews are left leg dominant.*

Description

Definition: There are 3 channels on a 4 wheel skate. It's similar with an anti-rocker setup (check Anti-Rocker frames definition in Definitions). Channel 1 is between the first and second wheel (from the front), or first wheel and rocker. Channel 2 would be between the second and third wheel (or your Groove/H-Block if you're rocking anti-rockers). Finally Channel 3 would be between your third and fourth wheel (or your 2nd rocker and last wheel). Channel grinds then are similar to groove grinds, but you are using the Channel number to grind on your frame. If you're doing a Channel Royale it is common to combine the numbers, so for example a Channel 11 Royale would be both skates on Channel 1.

In this sequence of images we are showing a Channel 11 Frontside.
